1930
While selling Mobil products in 1930, Mr. H.L. Reeves, the founder of Reeves Oil, went on to become the commission agent for Mobil Oil in 1947. Mr. Reeves established himself in Gladewater, Texas, and eventually served 3 terms as Mayor of Gladewater from 1952 to 1958.

1952
Jack Reeves, the son of H.L. Reeves joined the family business alongside his father in 1952. Jack soon became the CEO of Reeves Oil Company.

1957
Jack Reeves helped the company to become a Mobil Oil distributor for the Longview, Kilgore and Gladewater area. Soon after, the company operations were moved to Longview, Texas. During this time, the Reeves family also owned and operated local convenience stores called J-R’s Kwik Stops in East Texas. This significantly helped the family to provide the best consumer experience and understand the needs of the customer.

1980
With a big heart to serve and extend excellent care to the local community, Kyle Reeves stepped in to lead the company. He helped to establish an even larger customer base and inspired the company into greater growth.

2009
Justin Reeves stepped into the role of Chief Operating Officer to continue the legacy of his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He has brought consistent growth just like those before him and continues to increase the good reputation of Reeves Oil Company among the community and state.
